New procedural and smart Ancient Stone Textures and supporting Moss with Vines for the upcoming MOBA game called Tournament of Tamers by BUH! Gaming!

I was tasked with generating brand new textures for all of the primary assets in the game across several levels! The stone is generally considered ancient, with heavy weathering and overgrown vegetation. I developed both procedural materials, and smart materials to place onto assets and trim sheets. I then combined this with painting over the assets to put final touches and fine hand tuning on the textures!

The materials when used in painter allow one to select specific patterns and change details such as exact colors to match preset biomes or degree of weathering. Trimsheets could also be made for any specific purpose for saving memory!

This was an absolute delight to design and develop! Model elements were done in Rhino and Blender, Textures and painting were entirely done in Substance Designer and Substance Painter. Renderings were done in Marmoset Toolbag and the game itself is in Unity.

Thanks for looking!
